Davis Island Thanksgiving Regatta

Congratulations Team!

The MRPF Green Fleet Race Team dominated this regatta. Everyone improved and worked together as a team. It was an exciting weekend and we are so proud of each one of you. The regatta results can be found at: www.diyc.org under the results tab, then select IOD green fleet.
Special congrats to Darby and Chris for placing in the top 20, to Wade for placing in the top ten and to Ben for winning first place overall!

Naples Cup Regatta

This past weekend we took six boats to the Naples Cup Regatta. Everyone did an awesome job battling the cold air, shifty breeze, and the occasional bouts of sea sickness! We had a great time on the water and on the beach. Special congratulations go out to Alex who took 8th place overall! Way to go man.

Overall, the team did exceptionally well. Each sailor is improving with every regatta and it has been very exciting to watch. The following link will take you to the results page for the regatta. Please email me if you have any pictures from the weekend that I could post on here.

Bruce Waters Regatta

This past weekend (September 15-16) we raced in St. Pete in the Bruce Waters Green Fleet Regatta. We brought a full team, including: Alex, Ben, Chris, Darby, Mott, and Wade. Congratulations to the entire team for completely dominating the regatta! Also, special congrats to Ben for coming 1st place! As well as Darby in 3rd and Alex in 4th! We were a very proud bunch of coaches. Although there was not much steady wind during the weekend, each of you kept it interesting in your own special way. Great job on being patient amidst the frustrating current and light air! We are proud of you all and look forward to practice this week.
